Guardian, a Portland-headquartered developer, owner, and operator of multifamily properties in the Pacific Northwest, has hired Josh Lloyd as chief operating officer.
In his new job, Lloyd will lead the company’s property management operations, overseeing 125 properties across four states. Lloyd was previously executive vice president at Wood Partners, where he led operations for a portfolio of 36,000 residential units across 20 states. Before that, he oversaw a portfolio of 17,000 residential units as president of Holland Residential. He also serves on the board of directors for Multifamily NW, an industry membership organization.
“This transition represents an important evolution in how we operate, positioning us for continued success,” said Tom Brenneke, president of Guardian. “Josh’s extensive experience with large-scale operations at high-profile companies like Holland Partners and Wood Partners will be a tremendous asset to our team as we continue to elevate our operations and pursue new opportunities.”
