This week’s edition of Tech Trends offers four new solutions designed to make life easier for home sellers, property managers, and real estate investors.

A New Way to Sell Canadian Homes. Hyyve, a new platform for Canadian home sellers, has launched in Toronto.

According to the company, the platform is free for sellers who create MLS-style pre-listings with photos, videos, and property details that can be enhanced by AI-powered virtual staging from Hyyve’s partner, AI HomeDesign. Secure ID verification with Stripe also ensures trust for both sellers and agents. Sellers can receive upfront cash and compare side-by-side proposals from agents competing to earn their listing.

Hyyve only earns a success fee from the winning agent’s bid, aligning its interests with both sellers and agents and ensuring the platform is driven by outcomes, not upfront costs. Hyyve debuted this week with 500 select, invite-only realtors and home sellers.

“Selling a home is the largest financial transaction most Canadians will ever make, yet many are doing so without the tools or trust they need to feel confident,” said Patrick Armstrong, CEO and co-founder of Hyyve. “This survey reveals that finding a real estate agent is still largely based on referrals, yet nearly half of those surveyed would not use the same agent again. At Hyyve, we believe both home sellers and agents deserve a more transparent, merit-based, data and performance-driven way to connect when selling their most valuable asset.”

Detecting Fido and Kitty. PetScreening, the pet policy compliance software for the rental housing sector, debuted PetComply.ai, an exclusive feature that uses AI and advanced data analytics to help property managers identify pets that renters have failed to disclose.

PetComply.ai, which is available free of charge to PetScreening users, automatically identifies pet compliance red flags and engages the offending residents with personalized education and compliance prompts. PetScreening then provides property managers with actionable visibility on compliance status and strategies to accelerate the goal of achieving a 100% compliance rate with pet policies.

“PetScreening is reimagining how rental housing properties can achieve 100% pet compliance,” said John Bradford, founder and CEO of PetScreening. “PetComply.ai brings unprecedented efficiency and analytical power to operators’ efforts to make sure they are receiving the pet-related fees they are due. This tool will not only save time, but also will provide a powerful boost to the bottom line. By creating a framework and set of solutions that benefit property managers and pet-owning residents alike, we are unlocking tremendous value for the industry while ensuring safer and happier communities.”
