A new luxury home purchase might be evidence that the troubled marriage of Hollywood A-listers Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez is nearing its end.

TMZ reported that Affleck acquired a $20.5 million mansion in Pacific Palisades. The 6,247-square-foot residence has five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a guest house, horse stables and (according to the promotional page for the site) “secret gardens.”

Affleck’s acquisition comes after the troubled couple listed their Beverly Hills home earlier this month for $68 million – they bought it last year for $61 million and their attempts to enact an off-market sale fell flat. The couple have been separated since May and Affleck recently removed his belongings from the Beverly Hills home while Lopez was in Europe – he’s been living in a $100,000-a-month rental home in the Brentwood section of Los Angeles.

As for Lopez, TMZ reported she’s looking for her own house to buy in New York City.
