The Maine estate that was once the home of Oscar-winning screen legend Bette Davis has been listed for sale at $15 million.
The nearly 8-acre property that has been known as both “Seascape” and “Witch Way” is based along 1,200 feet of Cape Elizabeth’s Atlantic coastline. The main residence encompasses 7,600 square feet with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and an ocean-facing balcony. The property also features a fully equipped carriage house with high end kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Davis used the property as her summer home during the 1950s with her then-husband, actor Gary Merrill, and their children. The couple divorced in 1960, and the property had several different owners over the years. It last changed hands in 2016 for $3.75 million.
