Caliber (NASDAQ: CWD), a real estate investor, developer and manager headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, has promoted Ignacio Martinez from senior vice president of operations to chief operating officer.
Martinez takes over the role previously held by Jennifer Schrader, Caliber’s co-founder and president. In this new position, Martinez will be responsible for leading all operational aspects of the company, including people operations, project management, information technology and security, regulatory compliance, legal, customer service, and fundraising operations.
Prior to joining Caliber, Martinez served as senior vice president of security, risk and compliance for Smartsheet, an enterprise Software as a Service work management platform. Earlier in his career, he was chief risk officer at LifeLock and was a founding director of Protiviti, an international consulting firm.
