Skyline Retail REIT, a Guelph, Ontario-based real estate investment trust (REIT), has announced the appointment of Craig Leslie as its next president, effective June 30.
Leslie joined Skyline last year as a vice president with more than 19 years of experience across both the Canadian and U.K. real estate markets. Prior to joining Skyline, he was a director of retail asset management at Morguard. Earlier in his career, he was an asset manager at TrustRioCan Real Estate Investment Trust and a vice president at Deloitte.
Leslie will succeed Gordon Driedger, who was Skyline’s president for the past eight years and will take on the new role as a trustee.

Skyline is a privately owned and managed portfolio of retail properties, focused on acquiring properties with service-oriented, national brand tenants in secondary and tertiary communities across Canada.
