New York Yankees legend Derek Jeter is making another attempt to sell his Hudson Valley estate, this time at a significantly reduced cost.
The estate on Greenwood Lake in Warwick, New York, was built in 1903 and was the childhood home of Jeter’s grandfather, William “Sonny” Connors, during the 1950s. Jeter bought the 4-acre property, known as Tiedemann Castle, in 2003 for roughly $425,000 and made extensive renovations to the site.
The 12,590-square-foot residence now offers six bedrooms, seven full bathrooms, five half-bathrooms, an elevator, four indoor kitchens and one outdoor kitchen. The property also features a guest house, a pool house, an infinity pool, a boat house overlooking nearly 700 feet of shoreline and a replica of the Statue of Liberty.
Jeter first listed the property in 2018 at $14.75 million, but it was removed it from the market one year later and relisted it at $12.75 million in 2021, only to be removed again a few months later. It was back on the market in 2022 at $9.5 million and then at $6.5 million, only to be taken off the market last July. It is now back on the market for $6.3 million.
