DwellWell, a Los Angeles-based homebuying hub, has unveiled its first scholarship focused on the future of AI in real estate.
The new $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to current college and university students, who can apply via the DwellWell website by creating a video sharing how they think AI will impact real estate in the future. Any current U.S. college or university student with a valid “.edu” email address can apply through Oct. 31, and applicants are not required to be studying a real estate or technology discipline.
“When we talk with first-time homebuyers about their challenges, one thing that comes up often is difficulty saving an initial down payment while paying off student loans. If there’s an opportunity for us to help ease any homebuyer burden, we’re going to do it,” said Matt Canzoneri, CEO of DwellWell. “Getting students excited about the future of real estate and the role technology will play is also immensely rewarding.”
