Funnyman Pete Davidson wasn’t laughing all the way to the bank following the sale of his Staten Island condominium.
According to the New York Post, the “Saturday Night Live” alum sold the 1,600-square-foot residence at a listing price of $850,000 – the final sale price was not disclosed. He acquired the unit in the luxury waterfront complex in 2020 for $1.2 million.
Davidson has been trying to sell the condo since 2022, when he listed it for $1.3 million. After several price cuts, he withdrew the listing and paid for a significant redesign of the residence, changing it from a two-bedroom configuration into a loft-style one-bedroom space with an updated kitchen. It is unclear how much Davidson paid for renovation, but it certainly helped widen Davidson’s loss on the property’s sale.
