The homebuilder Lennar Corporation (NYSE: LEN) has announced new communities planned for North Carolina and Minnesota.
In North Carolina, the company acquired 2,194 homesites within the Caleb’s Creek master community in Kernersville. Spanning approximately 700 acres, Caleb’s Creek will offer 10 home collections including townhomes, ranch-style, and two-story homes, with amenities that include multiple pools, clubhouse, cabana structures, pickleball courts, linear parks, and miles of walking trails. Lennar anticipates launching new home sales at Caleb’s Creek later this year.
“With companies heavily investing in the Triad creating tremendous job opportunities coupled with overall quality of living in the area, the region is in need of new housing to accommodate the growing demand,” said Lennar Carolinas Division President Mark Henninger. “Lennar is committed to providing high-quality homes, in a welcoming community, that attract both new neighbors as well as local families who are ready to upgrade during this exciting time.”
In Minnesota, Lennar is expanding in the city of Rochester with three new communities – The Ponds of Highland Hills, Hadley Hills, and Essex Estates. Each community offers single-family homes ranging in size from 2,271 to 2,786 square feet, with four to six bedrooms, two to five baths and three-car garages. Pricing begins in the low $500,000s.
“With the strongest job growth in Minnesota and world-renowned health care, Rochester is attracting new residents, and the housing market has not been able to keep up,” said Lennar’s Minnesota Division President, Bill Burgess. “Lennar is excited to grow alongside Rochester and meet the demand with thoughtfully designed homes that meet the diverse needs of such a vibrant community.”
