Remember the old saying “It’s not what you know, it’s who you know”? Well, a couple in Australia seeking to sell their residence called on a famous friend to help market the property.
Cover Media reports Oscar-nominated actor Liam Neeson assisted his longtime friends Dean and Sonia Fay with a listing video for their three-bedroom, one-bathroom home in Melbourne. Neeson, who is in the Melbourne area shooting a film called “The Mongoose,” used the video to do a good-natured riff on his iconic role in the thriller “Taken.”
In the video, real estate agent Ming Xu calls Neeson on the phone to announce he has a “perfect home” for him. Neeson, who initially only appears in a voice performance, responds, “Listen man, I’m shooting a movie at the moment, do a video and send it to me.”
Xu answers, “Sure, you better be quick – otherwise this home will be…Taken.”
The video then switches to a tour of the $1.3 million home before Neeson finally appears on-screen outside the front door. A surprised Xu declares, “I didn’t give you the address yet.” And Neeson responds with melodramatic menace: “I told you I’d find you.”

Very imaginative. He’s one of my favorite actors. Well, has the house sold?
Same question! Did is sell?
No word yet on a sale.
