Journalist, “The News Girl”

Lisa Remillard is a TED Talk speaker and two-time Emmy nominated television journalist with a modern twist. Since 2020 she has blazed a new trail in the online journalism world by using her reporting skills and 20+ years of broadcast news experience to craft unique, fact based and relatable short-form news stories exclusively for social media. As of today she has more than 3 million subscribers, fans and loyal followers who rely on her to bring them the news every day. Her work has been featured in The Washington Post, Reuters, NPR and Yahoo!. She was also honored by NYU Journalism school for her work online. She was also named to the Who’s Who Maker’s List of “Thought Leaders and Influencers of Tomorrow.” Her TED Talk titled “The Media’s Influence on Democracy: Finding Facts in the Mess of Misinformation” will be available on all TED Talk platforms in the fall of 2024.

Lisa is the co-founder of BEONDTV a world-wide digital streaming platform for cool curated content and is also the co-host of “Carlos & Lisa,” a Los Angeles based talk show.

Through her company ProMedia Coaching, she uses her storytelling abilities and on-camera expertise to teach entrepreneurs, business owners and executives how to tell their own stories effectively on camera so they can communicate with their ideal audiences.
