The Bel Air estate of the late record producer and composer Quincy Jones has been discounted for the second time since it was listed last May.

Mansion Global reports the 2.3-acre property featuring a 24,920-square-foot mansion was reduced by $9 million on Wednesday for a new asking price of $45.9 million. The property was first listed for nearly $60 million.

The residence, which was custom-built in 2002 for Jones, features five bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, and five half-bathrooms. The residence includes a library, wine cellar and tasting room, recording studio, gym, screening room, security office, elevator. The grounds feature a lighted tennis court, multiple verandas and patios, and an infinity-edge pool with a hot tub.

Jones, who passed away in November 2024 at 91, was a 28-time Grammy-winner whose creative output ranged from composing “The Streetbeater” theme song for the “Sanford and Son” sitcom to producing Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.” He also composed the scores for more than 30 films and produced the 1985 Ethiopian famine relief fundraising album “We Are the World.”
