There is honesty, and then there is brutal honesty, and then there is Ash Swarts, a sales consultant with Australia’s O’Neil Real Estate who authored a listing for a home in the Perth suburb of Kelmscott.

According to the Daily Mail, Swarts’ listing acknowledged the property would not pass the white glove test. Promising “a unique blend of opportunity and adventure,” Swarts called attention to the property’s many challenges, with photographic evidence to back up the promotional claims.

“Step inside, and you’ll find a spacious layout with four bedrooms – one of which features a ceiling that’s more on the floor than above your head,” the listing said. “It’s perfect for those who appreciate indoor sky views! The two bathrooms come complete with surprise features, including a bong thoughtfully left behind for your, um, recreational enjoyment.”

The listing noted the previous owner’s furniture comes with the property, “offering instant décor inspiration or kindling for your first fireplace. The kitchen awaits your culinary dreams, currently accessorized with mysterious appliances that add a dash of unpredictability to your daily meals.”

As for the grounds, the listing admitted “the yard resembles a wild jungle, perfect for those with a green thumb or a love of adventure.” Potential buyers were urged to prepare themselves if they dared to tour the property.

“Viewing is highly recommended – bring your flashlight, your sense of humor, and perhaps a hazmat suit,” the listing added.

The property is listed at $489,000 in Australian currency (roughly $323,000 in U.S. money), and the listing insisted the home was “priced so low you’ll think it’s a typo!”
