Maryland Realtors have endorsed the re-election campaign of Gov. Wes Moore.
Moore, a Democrat, is seeking his second term as governor. In a statement issued by Moore’s campaign, 2026 Maryland Realtors President Denise Lewis praised the governor’s focus on housing issues.
“For the past four years, Gov. Moore has been an outspoken advocate and leader on housing issues,” said Lewis in the statement. “From introducing legislation in the General Assembly to signing the Housing Starts Here executive order, he is intent on removing the roadblocks that prevent Maryland from addressing its housing crisis and developing the full range of housing solutions to support our residents and our workforce. Taking on entrenched interests that want to keep housing scarce and expensive is not an easy task, and it has deterred others from even trying. But Gov. Moore believes, as we do, that housing is the foundation upon which Marylanders can build a stable and prosperous future. Because of this, Maryland Realtors is pleased to offer our endorsement for his re-election.”
