Freddie Mac (OTCQB: FMCC) has hired Matthew D. Abrusci as executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary.

Abrusci brings more than three decades of financial services experience spanning banking, capital markets, and securities law. He was previously general counsel at Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) Americas, and earlier in his career he held senior legal positions at the Royal Bank of Canada, Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, and Merrill Lynch, & Co., Inc.
