The mother of an Olmos Park, Texas-based real estate agent who disappeared a week ago after a violent fight with her husband believes that her daughter is no longer alive.
KSAT 12 News reported that Suzanne Clark Simpson was last seen by a neighbor on the evening of Oct. 6 when a neighbor saw her and her husband, Brad Simpson, in their bedroom having a physical altercation. The neighbor’s affidavit to the police claimed Brad Simpson “was clearly attempting to keep Ms. Simpson from running away,” and the neighbor then saw the couple leave the house together. When the neighbor went outside, he heard two to three screams from a brushy area east of his home, and one hour later he saw Brad Simpson leave the property in a pickup truck, only to return an hour later.
Suzanne Clark Simpson’s disappearance was not reported until Monday afternoon when she did not pick up her child from school. Police interviewed the school staff who stated one of the Simpson children said their parents were “fighting” and the father assaulted the mother.
Brad Simpson was arrested on Oct 9 on charges of assault causing bodily injury-family violence and unlawful restraint, and he is being held on a $2 million bond.
Dozens of Suzanne Clark Simpson’s family members and friends held a candlelight prayer vigil in San Antonio’s North Side on Sunday night. Barbara Clark, the missing woman’s mother, told News 4 San Antonio the family was trying “to be positive, focus on God,” but she also stated that she felt her daughter would have already contacted her if she was still alive.
“Suzanne and I had an opportunity to talk an hour before a lot of this has happened and I don’t understand why and what happened and I hope someday I will be able to understand the situation,” said Clark. “My speculation is maybe the whole thing is alcohol-related because when she got back, she called me up and told me the things that Brad had done to her physically.”

Sad.. seems the husband would know what happened to her… may need to get medieval on him to find out where she (her body) is. Sadly, it appears there were “red flags” going up w this couple’s abusive relationship that were either ignored or were unknown to those who could help before it got to this point.
