The National Association of Realtors (NAR) has reported that many of its members were receiving deceptive emails that falsely claimed to offer web domains with the .realestate address.

NAR said the messaging was not originating from its office, but instead were coming from DomainNetworks.com. The organization warned the messaging was intended to trick NAR members into sharing personal or financial information.

Booking.com

NAR has offered its members exclusive access to the .realtor domain, which are free to verified members for the first year, while members and the public are eligible for .realestate domains. NAR asked its members who receive fraudulent domain listing messaging to forward them to the Federal Trade Commission, the Internet Crime Complaint Center and state consumer protection offices.
