The Urban Land Institute (ULI) of Boston/New England has opened the Center for Leadership, a curriculum-based program to educate and mentor the next generation of the market’s real estate professionals.
According to the Boston Real Estate Times, the Center for Leadership’s 11-month program consists of eight program days, a tour, and graduation day. Each program day is devoted to a specific topic and is held at different locations around the Boston area. The topics involve land use and commercial real estate themes and will include housing and economic development, design and construction, capital markets, fundamentals of the development process, urban design, and policy and the public sector. Industry leaders will participate in discussions and present case studies.
Participation is open to both ULI members and non-members, and tuition assistance is available for qualified applicants.
“We are so pleased to offer a thoughtful, well-cultivated program for growth and connection to our region’s next generation of interdisciplinary land use and development leaders,” said Michelle Landers, executive director of ULI Boston/New England. “We expect that the first cohort of the Center for Leadership will gain tremendous value from the learning and networking opportunities that have been created for them.”
