Irvine, California-headquartered loanDepot Inc. (NYSE: LDI) announced the promotions of Tom Fiddler to the newly established position as president of retail lending and Dan Peña as president of partnership lending.

Fiddler joined loanDepot in 2015 and was most recently senior vice president of production. His new responsibilities will include those of Executive Vice President of Retail Production John Bianchi, who is departing the company.

Peña has served as the head of loanDepot’s joint venture channel since 2015. In his new role, Peña will focus on growing the channel and expanding the services loanDepot offers to its partners.

The promotions are the latest executive shifts to occur since company founder and Chairman of the Board Anthony Hsieh was appointed permanent CEO on July 28. Earlier this week, former loanDepot executives Dominick Marchetti and Sean DeJulia returned to the company as chief digital officer and chief innovation officer, respectively.
