The property manager of a New Jersey condominium complex was arrested on multiple charges of theft and forgery.
Corner Property Management of Springfield, New Jersey, asked the Union County Prosecutor’s Office to investigate significant discrepancies in its accounts. An investigation determined that
Martinia Heath, an on-site property manager at the Mountain Club Condominium complex in Morris County, falsified records and correspondence, including fabricated invoices that resulted in a financial loss to Corner Property in excess of $1 million between 2019 and 2023.
Heath was charged with one count of second-degree theft by deception, one count of second-degree impersonation, and one count each of third- and fourth-degree forgery. She is scheduled to make her first court appearance in Union County on Jan. 30, 2025.
