New Jersey recorded 4,332 single-family closed sales during November, an 8.2% decline from the 4,721 transactions recorded one year earlier. Pending sales totaled 3,999, a 7.9% drop from the 4,343 pending sales in November 2024.
According to data from New Jersey Realtors, townhouse-condo closed sales were down 21% year-over-year to 1,309 while adult communities closed sales were down 3.5% to 547.
But while sales were down, prices were up. The median sale price on a single-family home increased by 4.4% to $590,000, compared to $565,000 one year before. The townhouse-condo median sales price increased 4.8% to $435,000 and the adult communities median sales price increased 2.3% to $350,000.
