The legendary singer-songwriter Paul Anka has relisted his Los Angeles-area estate for $8.9 million, down from the $10 million listing he posted in 2024.
The New York Post reports the initial listing was removed when Anka opted to make upgrades to the property and use the residence’s recording studio to produce his latest album, “Inspirations of Life and Love.”
“I have now chosen to relocate to Nevada, where I used to live for many years, and I will keep a smaller home in Los Angeles,” said Anka in a statement. “I did not want to disrupt my base. Now that it’s finished, my focus is my tour and Broadway show, which will take over a year with writer Rupert Holmes. So, it’s the perfect time for me to make the transition.”
The 5.75-acre property is located within the gates of Sherwood Country Club and features a 7,091-square-foot residence built in 2006, with four bedrooms and six bathrooms. The property also includes an infinity-edge pool, fire pit lounge, outdoor dining and BBQ area, gardens, and a freestanding glass-walled gym with full bath and outdoor shower.
However, the gold and platinum records that adorn the walls of the home will be going with Anka once he moves out.
