Realtor.ca Canada Inc. has begun a search process for a CEO.

This search will be led by The Leadership Agency, a Toronto-based executive recruitment firm, and the organization said in a statement it was “seeking dynamic candidates who are passionate about building on Realtor.ca’s momentum, strengthening its brand equity, and advancing its commitment to serving Canadian home buyers, sellers, and renters.”

Patrick Pichette, who was previously a vice president with at Realtor.ca Canada, is the interim CEO. The organization plans to announce its chief executive position this fall.

Realtor.ca Canada is the nation’s largest multiple listings service platform. It was previously a nonprofit owned by the Canadian Real Estate Association, and earlier this year it was restructured as a for-profit standalone subsidiary of the association

“We are excited to begin this search and identify the leader who will guide Realtor.ca through its next phase of development,” said David Oikle, board chairman. “This appointment will be pivotal to advancing our strategic growth and continued innovation.”
