The nonprofit Realtors Relief Foundation (RRF) has provided a $1 million grant to the California Association of Realtors for disaster relief support of the families impacted by recent Los Angeles County wildfires.
All donations to RRF made through Feb. 7 will go toward to the residents impacted by the wildfires. The National Association of Realtors will cover 100% of RRF’s administrative costs, thus ensuring all funds go directly to disaster relief efforts.
“Agents who are Realtors deeply understand that in times of crisis, we step up to help our communities remain resilient and united, even in the face of devastation like what we’re witnessing in Southern California,” said RRF President Greg Hrabcak. “This grant underscores RRF’s dedication to providing assistance during the critical weeks and months following a disaster, and we are committed to helping families stay in their communities and begin to rebuild their lives.”
Why is there not any monies going to Western NC and Tenn for the people that are now homeless and freezing out in the elements? They need it more!
Did Realtors Relief Fund provide any funds to the folks in Western North Carolina? If so, how much?
I am completely opposed to this! Absolutely, we should’ve already sent money to the hurricane victims in North Carolina and Tennessee. This is a travesty!
Ignoring NC and surrounding hurricane victims is a travesty. I am just so angry.
Can we not demand to know… did any money go to WNC for the hurricane victims??!? We want to know!!!
