Verisk (NASDAQ:VRSK), a global data analytics and technology provider headquartered in Jersey City, New Jersey, has hired Samantha Vaughan as chief privacy officer.
In her new job, Vaughn will lead the development and implementation of policies to protect the data entrusted to Verisk while ensuring the company’s data practices, regulation and compliance standards.
Vaughn was previously managing director and global head of privacy legal at Dell Technologies, and earlier in her career she was the senior vice president for corporate ethics and compliance and chief privacy officer for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. She serves as co-chairperson of the Advisory Board on Compliance Programs for Fordham Law School and co-chairs the Ethisphere Business Ethics Leadership Alliance Compliance and Privacy Working Group.
