The Las Vegas-headquartered modular housing manufacturer Boxabl announced that its flagship product, the Casita, was approved under the Residential Building Code in the State of Nevada.

The Casita is a factory-built dwelling that covers a 361-square-foot layout that can be used in multiple purposes ranging from residential living to accessory dwelling units. The company plans to offer the Casita to alleviate Nevada’s housing needs.

The announcement follows the recent approval to sell the Casita across California, and the company hopes to offer its product as a solution for those impacted by the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles County.

“We are proud to bring the Casita to Nevada,” said Paolo Tiramani, CEO of Boxabl. “This approval not only reflects the hard work of our team but also solidifies our ability to provide Nevadans with a revolutionary housing option that is affordable, fast to deploy, and built to last.”
