Celebrities from the entertainment and technology industries were responsible for some of the splashiest real estate deals of 2025.
According to a new list from the Robb Report, film and television producer Byron Allen rang up the most expensive celebrity real estate deal of the year with the $82.5 million sale of his full-floor condo at 220 Central Park South in New York City – the was also the Big Apple’s most expensive deal of the year. Allen acquired the five-bedroom, 6,600-square-foot residence in 2023 for $75 million. The buyer was identified as a limited liability company tied to Huizenga Holdings, the investment firm founded by the late H. Wayne Huizenga.
Meta chief Mark Zuckerberg record the second biggest celebrity real estate deal of 2025 with his $65 million acquisition of roughly 1,000 additional acres on Kauai earlier this year. This purchase brought his total landholdings on the Hawaiian island to more than 2,300 acres, where Zuckerberg’s Koʻolau Ranch has grown into a highly secured compound with guesthouses and underground bunkers plus amenities including pools, tennis courts, gym and spa facilities.
Rounding out the top five list of XL-sized celebrity real estate deals are Paris Hilton’s $63.1 million purchase of Mark Wahlberg’s estate in the Los Angeles enclave of Los Angeles; Jeff Bezos’ $63 million sale of his waterfront Hunts Point estate, the largest real estate transaction in Washington state history; and the $60 million sale of Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo’s estate in Montecito, California.
