Davenport, Iowa-headquartered Von Maur Department Stores announced plans to open its first store in New Jersey in Fall 2027.
The new location will be an anchor store at Freehold Raceway Mall in Freehold, New Jersey, owned and operated by the real estate investment trust Macerich (NYSE: MAC). The three-level, approximately 164,000 square foot Von Maur location expects to employ approximately 150 full-time and part-time associates.
Von Maur Department Stores was founded in 1872. Once the Freehold store is complete, Von Maur will have 40 department store locations across the country. It also operates a 120,000 square foot e-commerce facility.
