The former headquarters complex of the WWE professional wrestling operations has been approved for conversion in residential housing.

The Zoning Board for the City of Stamford, Connecticut, unanimously approved plans to transition the building into 84 apartments. According to the Stamford Advocate, the complex’s utility shed will also be turned into residential housing, an act that required an update to the zoning code. Six units within the complex will be set aside for rent at below-market rates, a condition required to meet the city’s affordable housing mandate.

The four-story building, nicknamed “Titan Towers,” was constructed in 1981 on a parcel just off I-95 and was WWE headquarters from 1991 to 2023 when the company moved to a new location within Stamford. The property will be updated with new limestone and aluminum panels around the glass exterior and 18 new trees around the property.
