The Carmel Valley, California-based residence of Monkees singer-songwriter Michael Nesmith was sold for $3.25 million after 17 days on the market.
Realtor.com reported the three-bedroom, 3.5-bath home was listed in late November for $3.5 million. The 3,365-square-foot residence was constructed in 1962 and the property includes nearly 6.5 acres of lawns and hills plus a pool, a one-bedroom, 650-square-foot guesthouse with a semi-attached 700-square-foot media studio.
Nesmith, who career also included music video and film production, died at his home in 2021 from heart failure at the age of 78.
Sold way too cheap. Someone got very lucky
Lovely place, cheap price given CA real estate. Nesmith was a super talented guy that is dearly missed by his fans (myself included).
