GoldenTree Asset Management LP announced the hiring of Sam Friedland as principal and head of real estate credit origination, a newly created role.
Friedland will be based in the firm’s New York City office and will report to Lee Kruter, partner and head of performing credit. He was previously a managing director at Related Fund Management, and earlier in his career he was chief investment officer for US real estate at Eastbridge Group and senior associate – investment management at Colonial Capital Inc.
