The Trump Organization is seeking to construct new residences and retail units at one of its Florida golf resorts.
Bloomberg reports project would be located at the 600-acre Trump National Doral Miami resort, which is home to a hotel and four golf courses including the notorious “Blue Monster” that features multiple water hazards.
The new project, which would carry the Trump brand, is budgeted at costing between $2.5 billion and $3 billion and would encompass building 1,498 residential units spread across five towers and townhouses plus 141,694 square feet of commercial development. If permitting is approved by the Doral City Council – which needs to change zoning rules for this project – residential sales could begin in 2025 with condo prices starting at $2 million.
Eric Trump, who co-leads the Trump Organization with his brother Donald Trump Jr., said the project would “be incredible for home values and great for the community all around – it’s going to be a world class development.”
