The U.S. dominated the medal count in this year’s pandemic affected Olympic Games. I am sick and tired of hearing about how terrible our country is by certain people. Yes, we have a ways to go with 60% of the population having a net worth of zero, but to broadly call our country a loser country just isn’t fair.
Sure, there is fear and prejudice against people who look different or believe differently, but this has been happening since Adam and Eve and humans lived in caves. We all need to cut the U.S. a break about wealth inequality and focus on our competitive edge, and like the U.S. Olympians, work and practice hard every day to improve and build a strong middle class.
