The home of missing and presumed dead Texas realtor Suzanne Clark Simpson may be sold as her husband Brad Simpson, who was charged with murder, remains behind bars.
Fox News reported Barton Simpson, the brother of Brad Simpson, said in an interview that the home could be listed for sale “possibly next year.” A junk hauling truck was seen outside of the property on Friday.
“The family will not be residing there, and we need to get it cleaned up so that it can be rented or sold,” said Barton Simpson about the home in the San Antonio suburb of Olmos Park. “We are helping the children move in that direction.”
The realtor was last seen on the night of Oct. 6 by a neighbor who saw the Simpsons engaged in a loud and physically aggressive altercation outside of their home. Brad Simpson was initially arrested on misdemeanor charges of assault causing bodily injury, family violence and unlawful restraint, but those were dropped on Nov. 7 and he was then charged with his wife’s murder.
The couple’s 20-year-old daughter Chandler Simpson wrote on Instagram, “My mom was a victim of abuse from my father. My father took my mother’s life in a state of rage and control. In our community, this should not be happening and I will not stop speaking as the voice of my mother until she is found. I will forever represent all victims of domestic abuse and assault.”
