Ridgeland Mortgage, a recently formed joint venture between mortgage lender loanDepot Inc. (NYSE: LDI) and home builder Smith Douglas Homes (NYSE: SDHC), has appointed Teresa Carlile as president.

In her new role, Carlile will lead the business’ growth and daily operations. Carlile was previously operations manager for business insurance at Travelers, and earlier in her career she was sales and operation manager at Bank of England Mortgage.
