When it comes to being in the right place at the right time, home sellers may wish to consider a new data analysis by ATTOM that found the months of May, February and April offer the highest seller premiums.

In a number-crunch of more than 47 million single-family home and condo sales between 2015 and 2024, ATTOM determined the months that recorded the greatest seller premiums were May (9.5%); February (9.4%); April (9.1%); June (9.0%); March (8.8%); January (7.8%); July (7.4%); August (7.3%); December (7.2%); September (6.9%); October (6.6%); and November (6.4%).

As for the best days of the year to sell a home, ATTOM concluded May 27 was the top choice on the calendar, with a seller premium of 14.0%. Other prime days and their seller premiums were May 26 (13.7%); March 31 (12.9%); March 30 (12.6%); April 28 (12.5%); April 29 (12.2%); March 29 (12.1%); May 25 (12.0%); June 30 (11.9%); and February 24 (11.6%).
