The Department of Justice (DOJ) has acquiesced to President Trump’s demands that mortgage fraud investigation of New York Attorney General Letitia James move forward.
According to a Bloomberg report sourced from unnamed “people familiar with the matter,” the case is still active within the US Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia despite the resignation of Interim US Attorney General Erik Siebert, who determined there was a lack of credible evidence to warrant bringing the case to trial. Trump publicly demanded Siebert’s ouster, insisting that James was “very guilty of something.”
Lindsey Halligan, a Trump aide who has no experience as a prosecutor, took over Siebert’s former office on Monday.
The probe into James was sparked by a criminal referral made by Bill Pulte, the director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, and is now being led by Ed Martin, who runs the DOJ’s Weaponization Working Group. Last month, Martin sent a letter to James’ attorney Abbe Lowell demanding that she resign as an “act of good faith.” Lowell responded with a letter stating Martin was “not conducting a serious investigation or review” but was only trying to serve Trump’s desire to bring revenge on his political adversaries.

As I understand the facts, Ms. James owns two (2) homes, one is listed as a primary and one is listed as a 2nd home. As a former Regional Underwriting manager, this is perfectly legal. I understand that the homes are in two different states; this fact alone confirms the validity of the transaction. Ms. James is simply one of Trump’s targets; it is very clear he does not like Black people, specifically black women. This behavior is in his actions as well as his
comments. Why aren’t we investigating Trump’s border CZAR? And, according to a bombshell report in The New York Times, Homan accepted a bag containing $50,000 in cash last September from undercover FBI agents posing as businessmen. Homan reportedly indicated he would be willing to help them get government contracts if Trump won the election.
It appears to me that our country is coming in third or fourth place with Trump, as he continues on his revenge tour. Let’s not forget the tariffs, which are totally ineffective, causing more harm than good..
You “understand” little.
Stick to underwriting.
Before you post, you should fact check your own post. She owns 3 homes. 2 in the same state
Brooklyn Home: James’s longtime primary residence, a multifamily property she has used for income from rentals. Allegations claim she falsely described it as a “four-family dwelling” in a 2011 application for a Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP) loan—a government-backed relief program for struggling homeowners—to qualify for lower rates and payments
Virginia Home Investment property: A loan document from Citizens Bank allegedly listed it as James’s “primary residence,” which would qualify for a lower interest rate
Her other Virginia home: 1980s mortgage application where James purportedly listed herself as her father’s “spouse” to co-sign or assist with the loan.
Like the other person noted.. “stick to loan processing” Everyone knows Bloomberg hates Trump and ran against him in an election and everything that comes out of his company is Anti-Trump! Dahhhhh
Your recent stories are more and more unbiased. Where are you getting your info from? Reddit? Facebook?
Who are these “ Sources familiar with the Matter” or “ Sources close to” “anonymous sources” “a recent poll “ 🙄
Whenever we run a story based on another news outlet’s reporting that information is from anonymous “sources familiar with the matter,” that statement is always highlighted in quotation marks to alert the reader that unnamed sources are generating this information. We feel readers should be aware that the information is coming from people who refuse to identify themselves, for whatever reason.
Correction *Biased*

I appreciate this article too. A lot of things will be brought to the light here in the upcoming days
When we have a lying felon for our President, anything, he or his underlings say or do is extremely suspicious and all the facts must be scrupulously scrutinized to verify the truth.
