Fans of home renovators Chip and Joanna Gaines will be getting a Rocky Mountain high on their latest endeavor – “Fixer Upper: Colorado Mountain House,” which marks the couple’s first “Fixer Upper” project outside of their home state of Texas.

In this new three-part limited series, the duo focuses on a 1960s mountain property in Colorado, facing design and construction challenges in the high-altitude environment – which includes surprise visits from local wildlife.

“Colorado has come to be a special place for our family,” said Joanna Gaines in a press statement. “And somewhere in-between ski trips and spring breaks over the last decade, a dream took root to one day carve out a place of our own. While taking ‘Fixer Upper’ out of state meant we were in for a steep learning curve, our hope is that this home would far outlast us, and we can’t wait to share it with you.”

The new series premieres Dec. 9 at 9:00 pm ET/PT on Magnolia Network and HGTV and streams the same day on HBO Max and Discovery+.
