The LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance announced a new chapter in its leadership with the installation of Tommie Wehrle as its 2026 president.
Wehrle is a learning consultant for Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate in Milford, Connecticut. Earlier in her career, she was a broker associate with Coldwell Banker.
“I’ve had the honor and privilege of having a career in the real estate industry,” said Wehrle. “It’s a thrill for me to be of service, impacting the lives of homebuyers and sellers along with empowering/guiding agents and brokerage leadership towards success. I believe our industry has the unique opportunity to be the ones who champion the removal of any barriers of homeownership entry for all marginalized groups including the LGBTQ+ community.”
Wehrle added, “The Alliance will continue to advocate and showcase examples of discrimination that hinder LGBTQ+ real estate professionals and our clients. We also have a commitment to welcome those real estate professionals who have LGBTQ+ children into the Alliance. With a growing membership pool, the opportunities to impact change grows each day.”
The Alliance also named Richard Woods to serve as 2026 first vice president, which puts him in line to be the 2027 president. Woods is the broker/owner of Woods Real Estate Services in San Diego.
Austin Rowe was elected as the 2026 second vice president and will become president in 2028. Rowe is a realtor with Onward Real Estate in Nashville.

So, if I want to associate with Ms. Wehrle, I should be gay. If I’m not gay she doesn’t really want to know me.
But if I can convince my child that they might be gay, and most importantly, encourage them to claim that publicly, then I will be a good person, and she will want to associate with me.
What is the democrat obsession with other people’s Children’s sexuality?
This is not enlightenment.
Can anyone put me in touch with the Straight Real Estate Alliance?
