Former Vice President Kamala Harris has a new home in the swanky Point Dume section of Malibu.

The New York Post reports Harris and her husband, attorney Doug Emhoff, paid $8.15 million in an off-market transaction for a 4,000-square-foot, four-bedroom, six-bathroom home built in 1979 and located on a 0.75-acre parcel. The residence is in a section of Malibu that was not impacted from last year’s wildfires.

Some local residents reporting seeing Emhoff in the neighborhood, although Harris has not been spotted. Point Dume is home to several prominent Hollywood stars including Sean Penn and Julia Roberts, as well as high-tech titan including venture capitalist Marc Andreesen and Google co-founder Sergey Brin.

Harris and Emhoff have been living in a four-bedroom, 3,500-square-foot home in the Brentwood section of Los Angeles, but it is unclear if they are planning to sell that property.
