The Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) has hired Jeremy Green as vice president of legislative affairs.

In his new job, Green, he will advocate on behalf of MBA’s policy priorities on Capitol Hill, with a primary focus on Democratic members and their offices within the Senate. Green previously served as vice president of federal government affairs at McGuireWoods Consulting, and earlier in his career he various roles at the National Association of Realtors, culminating as federal legislative representative.

“Jeremy brings to MBA a proven track record of building strong relationships with policymakers and a thoughtful, strategic approach to advancing legislative priorities on behalf of the real estate industry,” said Bill Killmer, MBA’s chief lobbyist and senior vice president of legislative and political affairs. “His focused expertise and passion for political advocacy, coupled with his family history of industry involvement, make him a great fit to join our lobbying team. I am confident he will be successful helping to produce positive legislative outcomes on behalf of both our single-family and commercial/multifamily members.”
