Now, here’s something that we don’t see every day: a polo venue is listed for sale.
The 150-acre Valiente Polo Farm in Wellington, Florida, is being marketed by Icon Global. The property includes three polo fields, a stick and ball field, a warm-up track, a viewing pavilion, an 87,000-square-foot main barn, a 435,000-square-foot maintenance facility, and a 14,000-square-foot two-story employees’ building with 11 bedrooms.
The property is the home base to the Valiente Polo Team, which has won major championships including the 2024 CV Whitney Cup title. Icon Global did not disclose the sale price of the property, but in a statement the company said, “Comparable opportunities are nonexistent. The most recent sale of similar size and use of significance includes the 2022 National Polo Center and Isla Carol transactions, which together, traded for approximately $150 million.”
