The listing for the longtime New York City home of Oscar-winning actress Katharine Hepburn has undergone its third price cut.
Mansion Global reports the 166-year-old five-story townhome in the Turtle Bay section of Midtown Manhattan is now being marketed at $6.195 million. The property was first listed in 2024 for $7.2 million and had its price discounted twice during 2025.
Hepburn acquired the property in 1931 and lived there until her death in 2003 at the age of 96. Hepburn’s estate sold the property in 2004 for $3.9 million.
The property has four bedrooms, four bathrooms, six fireplaces and covers 4,560 square feet. It also has access to Turtle Bay Gardens, a private park shared by 20 townhouses surrounding it.
The former home of Hepburn’s next-door neighbor, composer Stephen Sondheim, sold in December 2023 for $7 million.
