TransUnion (NYSE: TRU) has rolled out TruLookup for Real Estate, a mobile platform designed to help real estate professionals confirm property ownership to prevent fraud and conduct personal safety checks.
According to the company, the new platform can confirm legal property ownership before listing. It uses a phone number to review identity attributes and assess potential risk indicators before in-person meetings, and it can immediately locate phone, email and postal address information for owners of unlisted properties.
Furthermore, the platform can generate phone, email and direct mail lists based on a location and customizable radius for circle prospecting campaigns.
TruLookup for Real Estate will be available in early April. Real estate professionals can access the app through participating associations and brokerages.
“Realtors work on the go in a fast-moving, highly competitive industry,” said Melanie Zimmerman, president of TransUnion Risk and Alternative Data Solutions Inc. “TransUnion’s TruLookup for Real Estate gives them a mobile-first solution that helps them stay safe and seize opportunities in the moment.”
