Landmark Properties, an Athens, Georgia-headquartered real estate firm focused on developing and operating residential communities, announced it is expanding into the senior housing sector.
Landmark will pursue both ground-up development and acquisition opportunities through partnerships. To lead this endeavor, Landmark appointed Shashank Goel as senior director of US senior housing investment management. Goel joins the firm from Harrison Street, where he assistant vice president. He also serves as a member of the Future Leaders Council as part of the National Investment Center for Seniors Housing & Care.
