Partnership Between loanDepot and Betenbough Companies Creates New Mortgage Lender

A new partnership between loanDepot Inc. (NYSE: LDI) and Betenbough Companies has brought forth Olive Branch Home Loans, a startup mortgage company serving homebuyers across West Texas.

The new entity is the first loanDepot’s partnership channel enables homebuilders and their affiliates to develop their own mortgage operations while leveraging loanDepot’s wholesale capabilities, and customer service infrastructure. Betenbough Companies is the parent of Betenbough Homes, which has Texas-based operations in Amarillo, Lubbock, Midland, and Odessa.

“By combining Betenbough Companies’ deep understanding of local home buyers with loanDepot’s operational and customer service expertise, this collaboration puts the customer first, streamlining the process from application to closing and making homeownership more accessible, efficient, and personalized,” said loanDepot President of Partnership Lending Dan Peña. “It also serves as a reproducible playbook for builders nationwide seeking to launch an in-house lending capability.”
