President Trump has removed Pam Bondi as US Attorney General.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump called Bondi a “Great American Patriot and a loyal friend, who faithfully served as my Attorney General over the past year.” He stated Bondi will be transitioning to a much needed and important new job in the private sector, to be announced at a date in the near future.”
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche will serve as Acting Attorney General until a replacement for Bondi is named.
Bondi, who was Florida’s attorney general before joining the Trump administration, was criticized by the president last September in a private message that was posted publicly on Truth Social. The president faulted what he believed was a lethargic effort to prosecute several of his political enemies, including New York Attorney General Letitia James on mortgage fraud charges. James was later indicted, but the case was dismissed by a judge who determined the Trump-appointed prosecutor was improperly assigned to the job. Two subsequent attempts to indict James were rejected by grand juries.
The James indictment was based on a criminal referral made by Bill Pulte, the director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, who posted similar referrals against Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA), Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA), and Federal Reserve Gov. Lisa Cook. None of those referrals have resulted in an indictment.

WORST Attorney General (in the worst Administration) in the history of the USA, Good Riddance!
Pride goeth before fall.
She was not (in my opinion) a good Attorney General in Florida, but try as she might to attempt to prosecute Trumps enemies, without any factual evidence, she just couldn’t do it! She tried mightily to hide Trumps misbehavior by not releasing the entire Epstein files to the disdain of the general public. As a lackluster Attorney General she failed her boss’s attempts to prosecute on his whims – so out you go!
