Real REMAX Group, the new entity being created by the acquisition of REMAX Holdings (NYSE: RMAX) by The Real Brokerage (NASDAQ: REAX), announced that Jenna Rozenblat will become its first president.
Rozenblat has been the chief operating officer at Real since August 2023. She joined the company in January 2023 as executive vice president of operations. Earlier in her career, she was head of customer experience and market expansion at the real estate fintech Orchard and CEO of Village Realty.
REMAX’s leadership will not be running the new Real REMAX Group. Chris Lim, REMAX’s president and chief growth officer, and Travis Saxton, its executive vice president of strategy, are exiting after the acquisition is completed while CEO Erik Carlson will step down while taking a seat on the new Real REMAX board of directors.
In a statement released last week, Real and REMAX said the final approval on the acquisition “remains subject to the satisfaction of specified closing conditions, including obtaining the final order of the Supreme Court of British Columbia approving the arrangement aspects of the transaction.”
