Member terms & offer disclosures

We want partner savings to be straightforward. These terms describe how WRE News Discounts & Benefits is intended to work.

Free membership

Joining WRE News Discounts & Benefits is free at launch. There is no membership fee, subscription charge, or payment for joining. Some offers may require signing in or meeting a partner’s separate eligibility rules. Creating a WRE News account does not automatically establish an account with every participating partner. If a paid membership option is ever introduced, it will be separately described with clear pricing and an affirmative choice; free membership will not silently become a paid subscription.

Email preferences

Registering for free Discounts & Benefits access does not by itself subscribe you to WRE News newsletters or promotional messages. You may opt in through a separate, unchecked signup checkbox for WRE News newsletters and Discounts & Benefits updates, and select your preferred state and industry. We record an affirmative preference after email verification. Newsletter delivery is subject to a separate ActiveCampaign integration and members can unsubscribe from marketing emails without losing their Benefits account. Necessary account-security and verification emails are separate from marketing messages.

GreatPerks member access

Under our existing GreatPerks partnership, access to GreatPerks discounts is provided through the WRE News member sign-in gateway. You must have a verified WRE News member account to follow that link. GreatPerks is independently operated, may perform its own session or eligibility checks, and remains responsible for its website and participating merchant terms. WRE News membership does not create a guarantee of single sign-on or offer availability.

Purchases are made with independent partners

Discounts & Benefits provides information and access to offers from independent businesses. WRE News is not the seller or payment processor for purchases made with these partners. Members purchase directly from the participating merchant, and that merchant is responsible for its own checkout, charges, order processing, delivery, products and services, warranties, exchanges, cancellations, refunds and customer service. Promotions, prices, eligibility and availability are determined by the merchant and can change or end. For questions or problems with a purchase, members must contact the company they purchased from directly. WRE News can review reports about an inaccurate or broken offer listing, but does not process, reverse or refund partner transactions.

Discounts and claims

Only current offers approved by WRE News for display should be considered available. Displayed savings, when applicable, may vary by customer, product, date or location. Final pricing and offer terms should be confirmed at the partner’s checkout or consultation before completing a transaction.

Affiliate relationships — WRE News, not member compensation

WRE News may earn affiliate commissions or referral fees from partners when a qualifying purchase or inquiry occurs. These payments go to WRE News, not to members. Members are not paid to join, share, refer others to, or promote the Discounts & Benefits program. WRE News does not charge members a commission or additional fee for opening affiliate links. Promotional links may include identifiers that credit WRE News for qualifying activity.

Payment information and privacy

Discounts & Benefits does not ask for, collect, process or store members’ credit card or other payment card information for partner purchases. All partner payments take place through the independent merchant’s own checkout or payment service. Never enter or send payment card details into a WRE News Benefits registration or inquiry form. The partner handles payment information under its own privacy and security policies.

WRE News uses its WordPress account system to manage Benefits member access. When you choose to continue to a partner, that partner may process your information under its own applicable policies. Any information needed for a future single sign-on integration will be disclosed before activating the integration. Do not send passwords, medical details or other sensitive information through general inquiries. See our Privacy Policy for WRE News’s broader website practices.

To report an expired offer, request help with your WRE News account, or raise concerns about an advertised partner deal, contact [email protected]. For product-specific purchases, billing, and fulfillment, contact the merchant identified at checkout.
